Following the ambush of President Robert Mugabe during last week’s inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari by some journalists, Zibambwe has reacted angrily describing them as “brothers and sisters of Boko Haram”. Reporters from SaharaReporters had ambushed Mugabe and his African Union (AU) delegation demanding to know when he would step down and handover power, having been in power since independence from Britain in 1980.

The country’s Minister of Information, Prof. Jonathan Moyo, said Nigeria needs help if that is what its journalism has turned to. The minister stated further that free countries have rules, including diplomatic courtesy, not the display of Boko Haram journalism. Relationship between the two countries over the years have been shaky as Mugabe has previously labelled Nigeria as a corrupt nation.

  1. Yes that I agree, Nigeria is worst than a corrupt country. The worst in the history of the world. Nigeria is not even supposed to be known as a country. A bank where its leaders go to withdraw for themselves only.
