Limpopo – EFF leader Julius Malema has cast his vote at Mponegele Primary School, Zone 1, Seshego. He was accompanied by his wife Mantwa and his grandmother.
He complained that the voting booth was too exposed, making it hard for voters to keep their votes a secret as provided for in law.
However, he was impressed with the how elections were proceeding overall, saying he was proud of the people who had come out to exercise their votes.
Malema said all the work they had done came down to today, saying he believed the EFF would do very well.
We’ve put up a good fight, it ends here. It is now in the hands of South Africans. I am happy that the elections came. Now we must release South Africans to go and work for their country because they’ve been divided along political allegiances,” Malema said.
